Global Myanmar Ministers' Alliance
(GMMA)

The Global Myanmar Ministers' Alliance  is a network of Myanmar Christian Ministers.  GMMA is designed to help ministers who are actively involved in the gospel ministry in Myanmar and beyond.  This network will not discriminate against ministers regardless of ethnicity, race, color, or denomination.

The Purpose

The purpose of Global Myanmar Ministers' Alliance is to empower the ministers and to transform the nations.

GMMA is focusing on the Leadership, Integrity and Accountability.

Ministers' Care Program  (MCP)

This program is designed to help each minister whenever a need occurs i.e. the death of a minister or the death of the minister's immediate family member.  In order to receive this benefit, a minister must register with the nearest director for MCP and these directors are divided into three regions which are Rev. Pau Khan Khai, Kalay Myo for Upper Myanmar, Pastor Kam Hau, Mandalay for Central Myanmar and Dr. Nyunt Lah, Yangon for Southern Myanmar.  For information, please refer to www.mcctulsa.com/gmma-pdf-form .

Annual Ministers' Conference

Annually, a GMMA conference is held in a different location within Myanmar.  Last year, the conference was held on April 5-7 in Kalay Myo which is in upper Myanmar.  In this conference, over 300 ministers from different backgrounds such as Baptist, Assemblies of God, Brethren, Presbyterian, United Pentecostal, Seventh Day Adventist, Methodist as well as some independent churches and organizations.  To attend this conference, some of these ministers walked for two days and then, traveled for another day by car to finally arrive at this conference.  During the evening of this conference, an open air crusade was held for three consecutive nights and about 10,000 people attended.  As a result of the crusade, about a 150 people received Jesus Christ and many people were healed and delivered from bondages.

In the year of 2012, this conference was held on March 29-30 in Mandalay City at the Southeast Asia Bible College.  Dr. Tom Blackaby was the conference speaker.  About 100 ministers from Mandalay City and the surrounding area attended this conference from difference denominational backgrounds.  This region of Mandalay has the least amount of Christian converts as compared to the rest of the nation of Myanmar.

In 2013, this GMMA conference will be held in Yangon during the month of March.
